Volunteering

The Emergency Shelter attributes much of its success to its generous volunteers. You can become one of our valued volunteers by sharing your time and talent.

All volunteers must fill out a volunteer application form (online or PDF), Release of Information form, Promise of Confidentiality form & the Agency-Volunteer Agreement form. Once all forms are submitted, you will attend an orientation held at the shelter to learn more about the shelter and have a session to ask questions. Generally, orientations are held on the first Saturday of every month. Once you submit your application and signed forms, you will be contacted for follow-up.

Volunteer forms that you can print off and fill out can be accessed by clicking on the links below. Return to Jill Mitchler by dropping off at the Shelter or by mail to PO Box 341, Appleton, WI 54912-0341. It is most useful if the applicant provides current email addresses where requested.

ALL OF THE BELOW FORMS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO COMPLETE THE VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION PROCESS.
